In a recent study published in the journal “cell and bioscience” researchers investigated whether coffee has effects against severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome CORONA VIRUS 2 (SARS-COV-2).
Coffee is one of the most consumed beverages and contains Polyphenols such as caffeic acid and chlorogenic acid and Antioxidants like trigonelline ,melanoidins and cafestol .
One study revealed that coffee consumes (at least one cup per day) was associated with a 10% lower COVID – 19 risk among the UK.
